The service

Kalivent gathers an event's photos and videos into one gallery that guests open from a link, without an app or an account, and where they can find the photos they appear in. The event's organisers set up the event in Manage, add photos, choose what guests see and decide when the gallery closes.

These terms apply to everyone who uses Kalivent: the event's organisers and its team, its guests, and visitors to kalivent.com. By using Kalivent you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What we do with personal information is explained in our privacy policy, at kalivent.com/privacy.

Organisers' accounts

• Organisers sign in with a Google account. We open accounts by invitation.
• You are responsible for what is done from your account, and for the people you add to the event's team: they can run the event with you.
• Keep access to your Google account secure. If you think someone else used your account, write to us at once.

Organisers' responsibilities

• Upload only photos and videos that are yours, or that you have the right to share.
• You give Kalivent permission to store the photos and videos, make copies of them in other sizes, find the faces in the photos for the photo search, and show and deliver them to the event's guests, downloads included, only to provide the service. We take no other right in them.
• Add to the guest list only people who agreed to receive the event's photos from Kalivent by WhatsApp or SMS, and whose numbers you may give us. By adding guests to the list, you confirm that each of them agreed to this.
• While the gallery is open, anyone who reaches the event's link can open it. Share the link only with the people you want to see the photos.
• You decide what the gallery shows, and you answer guests' takedown requests.
• Download what matters to you: six months after the event's date (or, for an event with no date, six months after the day it went live), its photos and videos are deleted for good.

Guests' photos and takedown

• Guests may add photos and videos of the event that they took, or that they may share. By adding them, they give Kalivent permission to store them and make copies of them, show them to the event's organisers, and show and deliver them to other guests, in downloads and the photo search included, once the organisers approve them, or at once if the organisers chose that.
• The organisers can hide any photo or video. Guests can delete what they added from their phone, while the gallery is open.
• Guests can ask for a photo or video to be taken down from its menu in the gallery. The request goes to the organisers, who are not shown who asked.

What you may not do on Kalivent

Do not use Kalivent to:

• upload content you have no right to share, or content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, violent, abusive or harassing;
• search with a picture of someone else: the photo search is for finding yourself;
• send messages through Kalivent to people who did not agree to receive them;
• reach events, accounts or information that are not yours, or get around limits, the check that the sender is a person, or the gallery's closing;
• overload the service, collect information from it automatically, or disrupt it.

When these terms are broken, we may remove content, block access or close an account.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Kalivent running, but we cannot promise that the service will be available at every moment or free of faults. We may change, add or remove features.

The price of an event and its payment are arranged with the Kalivent team.

We may update these terms, and the date at the top of the page shows the version. This is an interim version, pending legal review, and the reviewed version will replace it.

Limits of our liability

The service is provided as it is. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you, and download them before they are deleted.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for content that the event's organisers, photographers or guests add. Our total liability for any claim connected with an event is limited to the amount paid to Kalivent for that event.

Nothing in these terms limits a right the law gives you that cannot be waived.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
